It is a 2016 Ford EcoSport. The customer wants to add a new smart key. The job was completed by XTOOL X100 Pad auto key programmer.
The main operation guide:
1.Read security code
2.Switch the ignition OFF and wait for 10 seconds. Then switch the ignition ON, press OK
3.Read code success
4.Communicating
5.Press UNLOCK button of the smart key to add for 1 sec within 15 sec, press OK to continue
6.Program complete
The detailed steps:
Connect X100 PAD to the vehicle via main cable
Enter Diagnosis function
Select Immobilization-> Ford-> China Ford-> Smart key system-> EcoSport-> -2019-> Add a smart key
Confirm whether there is an emergency slot smart key
Switch the ignition OFF and wait for 10 seconds. Then switch the ignition ON, press OK on the screen
Read successfully
Press UNLOCK button of the smart key to add for 1 sec within 15 sec, press OK to continue
Insert the smart key into the card slot
Remove the smart key from the slot
The key programming is done.
Finally, use the smart key programmed to start the car, work normally.
